Wonder if they will try the paperless ####te on L/O? I just read your post to JJ and he says if they even try push the paperless logs on him, they will be getting the truck back and he will be quitting. He doesn't cheat either just makes a lil time if he needs it lol.:yes2557:
The one and only time he told them he didn't have the hrs to run a load, they made him sit in Washington for 5 days, so ever since then he accepts loads.

Wayne has dumped his first trainer and waiting for a new one. The guy did nothing but complain when he was awake. Wayne got maybe 4 1/2 hours sleep in 4 days because the guy refused to let him sleep. He told him he wanted him to learn the route so he couldn't sleep. Then he'd make Wayne drive at night while the guy slept! He told him to speed through construction zones. When Wayne slowed he told him to speed back up, the signs didn't matter. He never once showed him how to use the qualcom. Then the guy tells him he has to wait in SLC for him for 4 days because his daughter was getting married. Wayne had , had enough. At 3:45am Wayne pulled over because he couldn't keep his eyes open anymore. The guy got pissed because he had to drive! Wayne told him he was gonna go home for a few days instead of sitting in SLC and was gonna ge a new trainer. So he called it in and dropped him off in Elko. He slept at our daughters then drove down to Laughlin to visit with us. He got a call from Ken the next day asking if he was coming back? Well, yes i am why? The jerk told them Wayne was quitting!! WTF? So now, he has to call him back on Wednesday to set up a time to come back and get a new trainer. He said the last guys feet stunk so bad, he could hardly breath when the guy went to sleep. He is gonna give it one more try. Obviously, he got a trainer that everyone has been warned about. Only in it for the miles and a creep to boot!

Not sure but hum don't put it past them the only thing I would think if they left L/O out that would explain the push of new truck on new drivers good way to rid the old co drivers and bring in the new truck pay'n people. When it happens I will go find a small co west coast to Pheonix type.

Good luck and if I hear anything I'll let ya know.

Ya got it fixed and it's cool if ya no what I mean. Finaly got my load home 20 miles from the house 10 days late but better nothing. Safty was P***** when I told them I would not be able to fax a copy of my new CDL to them by friday they said we will put you on another truck ride along get me home fax a copy them come back to SLC and get my truck I just said OK I QUIT then. They found a load right to my back yard. I think it's time to have a talk with my D/M and KC at Fontana the rules need to change a bit more in my favor. I will say that the H/T worked more in my favor as my son will be in town for the weekend an unexpected visit so this will make my weekend.:yes2557:.

6pak is happy he gets to see his son:biggrin_25520::biggrin_25520: yehaaaaaaa.

Whats going everybody. I ve been reading this post sincei started looking for a company to start with a month ago. Ive decided on central. I looked at swift and cre and central seems like the best of the 3. So i wanted to know if any body could tell me about life at central. I will be going through the school. So if any body could tell me anythng that would be cool. Like How much money i need? The recruiter told 350 and 70 of that would be for my license and the rest to eat off of. Im going to the dallas school. So any info on that one would be great. Thank you.

You will need more than 300. I would guess more like 5-600. Your meals are not provided, and you may have a wait for a trainer. Better to be safe than hungry.

As for what you can put in your truck, that is up to you. I have had a power cooler, TV, DVD, Xbox, Laptop, TV, ect.
You need to provide your own electronics, and your own inverter. Make sure you get one that is double the amps that your gear calls for. You do not want to over work it.
I do know a few company drivers that have had refrigerators installed. I would not recommend it. But the company will allow it, if it is professionally installed, and the cabinet that is removed is returned to them. I am not sure what all the stipulations on that are though, you would have to ask maintenance.

Aww i'm sorry to hear that Wolfden! I wish JJ was training, he would be more then happy to take Wayne out with him.
I have been telling him for a while he should start training. I'm at home now getting some things organised and he hates it in the truck without me.
He would make an excellent trainer as he is patient, and was taught by a great guy.
I hope Wayne gets a better trainer next time.

Been there done that 4 days in Del Rio TX. trainer said the truck could be my home:biggrin_2555: so without a wink of an eye I decided to stay at the motel 6. Now this guy was alright so I left the b******g for later can't say much for the stay except it cost me $149.00. When we were done I decided to take it up with safty after all I maid this guy $6700.00 in the 19 days I drove. Safty was not to happy about paying out the $ but did so as it was there problem not mine. I felt sorry for the next guy and wondered if like the traineeeee before me would instead of staying in the truck find a couple of ladies to stay with not to cool either. Anyhow long story short your hubby did the right thing also going to safty won't hirt either these people need to hold a higher standard on the trainers. There are a number of good trainers out there but as saying goes 1 bad apple can make the rest of the bunch taste bad. Good with the next trainer and don't forget safty they say thats what there for so hold them to it. It's your life hold on to it.

6pak happy and lov'n life and seeing his son in just 3 days. Haven't seen him sience the first of the year:biggrin_2553: I miss him I'm a dad:yes2557:..............
