    Can I install a cb radio in my 2000 Subaru and have it work correctly

    You should be able to do so. You're lucky it seems Subaru actually realizes people may work on their own vehicles and designs their vehicles accordingly.

    It will perform better in a Subaru than a big truck..

    For best results, try and get an antenna that you can tune so you can listen/talk a decent range.

    Just be sure you get a Black one...The Blue and Red cb's are for Fords and Chevy's.

    Get a cigarette car charger converter to a 13.8 v plug, make sure everything else for the CB works well, and walla their you go. That plugs around 10$
