I've ran port and rail here in FL and both suck

You get used to it and there's tricks to getting in n out quicker. But adjusting to the union 's attitudes is something else 3 years doing ports and they still tick me off daily lol -
lol didn't think about that lack of sleep and oversight good looking out....
Thanks Mod he/she was quick! -
SurfTruck, I've been inside one terminal I think it was Everport. I dropped off an empty container and it took me a like 2 to 3 hours just to do that. I haven't started working officially yet since the pay looked a bit low and they would pay me by the load. Can I try and send you a personal message?

Absolutely

Which port company do you work for? I'm looking to get some experience. Having a hard time finding local work

You're not going to know what the eff is going on for the first few weeks until you see theses places a few times and slowly learn the routine. See if you can ride along with an experienced guy who can do a decent job of explaining what is happening and how to decipher the jibberish on the ingate/outgate tickets.

If you are interested in finding work PM me... I have loads saturday I don't really want to do lmao.
