I don't know how you Cali guys work in those ports out there!

 

I've ran port and rail here in FL and both suck

 

You get used to it and there's tricks to getting in n out quicker. But adjusting to the union 's attitudes is something else 3 years doing ports and they still tick me off daily lol

Which port company do you work for? I'm looking to get some experience. Having a hard time finding local work

 

You're not going to know what the eff is going on for the first few weeks until you see theses places a few times and slowly learn the routine. See if you can ride along with an experienced guy who can do a decent job of explaining what is happening and how to decipher the jibberish on the ingate/outgate tickets.
