Yeah that's nice.. This sitting duck policy though.. I get it if it's their equipment, but my truck? Hmm.. Dude who doesn't have parking at home and I refuse to leave my equipment at a truck stop.. No choice but paying for secured parking.. Any advice on that? God forbid you own trailers as well

I rent yard space and access to the shop from a friend who owns a small fleet. Another guy here in my town rents an outdoor spot alongside a building at an industrial park for $50 a month. Another guy made arrangements to park in the back of the strip mall and grocery store. I've heard that you can ask to park behind trucker friendly hotels also. Look for a towing company or repair shop nearby, seems to be the most common thing to do.Rattlehead808 Thanks this.

Cool, anything but a truckstop.. They'll steal your #### tires and turn around and try to sell them right back to ya.. Houston Pilot and Loves off of 610 are both sketchy.. Only truckstops close to homefargonaz Thanks this.

They don't care about your truck and trailer, they care about the person that hit you while you were illegally parked and the millions they will pay out.mp4694330 Thanks this.

I saw a brand new beautiful landstar Kenworth with those crappy numbers on it.
I never imagined Landstar would supply those.
Any sign shop in any city can make really nice numbers for less than $100 for 3 sets, 1 for each side and a 3rd if you screw one of them up. They're easy to put on. -
You can go to any of those quicky sign shops and have a little custom sign and numbers made up to your own design, for not much coin.I've just never liked having anything stuck on my paint, esp some of the one size/color fits all signs/letters..Have never had the DOT complain about compliance either.Unit numbers are right by the hood latch.

If your arent up for the games, there are other good companies out there. Mercer, bennett, admiral merchants, daily.fargonaz and Rattlehead808 Thank this.

I like the aspect of freedom to run the way I want to run, those companies you mention allow you to run the way you want? Thanks
-
Mercer does for sure. So does admiral. The others are also agent style carriers so figure they do as well.
