Just talked with an ex Abilene driver here. Said he mostly ran BH from ohio to brooklen 3 times a week. I didn't pry as to why he left and it was a short conversation. Nice guy though.

 

Ok, we all know what a break check is. I just had a heart check. Sitting at my table enjoying lunch (very tasty btw) and the refer shuts down!! I jump up thinking CRAP!! Another one? Just as I hit the dock after 5 hours!? No Way!

Start to step outside to see wtf and there's a guy there. Apparently they turn them off while loading here.

Whew!! LOL

 

Stick the menu in your driver's side window or he WILL come back and knock just as you fall asleep.

Nordic is where I had my 12 hour detention. Got there at 6 for a 9pm appt and got loaded 11am the next day.

 

Anyone ever done a 10hr break at that Vince Lombardi service area in NJ?. There are signs up saying there is a $250 fine for idling but was wondering if thats enforced.

I had to limp here after truck died twice on me, once on the GWB no less.

I'm hoping a parked regen fixes it as thats what seems to be the isdue.
