Im fixing to do the same thing. Ride a couple miles really intense. Burn out the wakies at night so I can get some sleep straight through. My Medicines are interfering with that sleep it's crazy. One in particular turns me into a absolute night riding monster. Get up and go. 1000 miles easy peasy. No nodding. Maybe that bike will burn it out of me.

I'm only in the driver's seat 4-5 hours or so a day. All I've done to keep the pounds off is a bag of baby carrots in my lunch instead of potato chips and cutting out juice/milk/pop etc. and drinking water instead. Even switched over to putting honey in my coffee rather than sugar. I lift an hour or 2 a week at home. Nothing crazy, just 20 and 40 lb freeweights.

Going to the gym everyday keeping a healthy diet. But the best way is to switch to water watch your suger maybe park a little further instead of squeezing between two trucks because you dont want to walk far.i am not a otr driver i am local so come home each day. I wonder how hard is it to keep in shape if i was over the road.

This was my plan if I'd go back to OTR. You can put the bench in the driver side or store on the top bunk is what I was thinking. Or wrap it in a trash bag secure it outside behind the cab. Adj Dumbbells are pretty portable. Plus if you get stronger you can get a heavier set. Just need to figure out pull ups and your set. Just get a yoga matte, pop it out on the side of the truck and start lifting. Yeah you'll have people starring at you but their the ones sitting there doing nothing. These cost money but at the end of the day it's your health plus the price for this stuff is about a years worth of gym membership or smoke one less carton of cigs a month. So it pays for itself. I'm big into going to the gym so if I decided to do OTR I'd have to get this or I'd go insane. Just giving you guys some ideas.
