I'd like to see how that .84 a mile TranScam lease "works for them".
They probably earn more while in detention than actually driving lol

There is something for everybody. Prime can be a decent program got someone that wants the percentage pay but still gave a dispatcher & what not.

Not enough independence there for me either. Don't get me wrong, SNI has one of the better programs out there, for now, but I've seen a lot of negative changes over the past year. This program will work for a lot of people.

If Prime had a point and click load board I'd be there tomorrow!
Just imagine what those short Northeast regional reefer loads pay :love4:

I couldn't do it, but hey I'm good at math so...all kidding aside yeah I got the impression from one of their drivers that he had a nice retirement income and trucking was just top up money...

Agreed. After expenses they make less than company drivers. They lie to themselves in order to say is their truck. The illusion of independence is a very strong motivator.

While i realize you said this just kidding around, it's important to note that there is options in the middle of the two.

So the load board has looked like crap all weekend..and this morning.
I get a call 10 minutes ago..some ICA/ICR(mine is off today) calls and wants to know if I can do them a ''favor'' and run a hot load that needs to be in North Jersey 2 hours ago.
Seems the powers that be forgot all about it.
Nope..not even for $3/mile..not enough revenue on short miles.

So long story short I'm sitting and drinking coffee..safe travels to all that are working.

They lie to not only themselves but everyone else. They wanna fit in with the lunch counter crew and tell everyone they are OO. I never understood that when with the right company you can make good money and have a list of bennies just being on the company side.

    TennMan and spyder7723 Thank this.

Rutherford and the boys at Pittsburgh Power tore this thing apart on their show one day. Said it's absolutely impossible to produce that much power with electric. Basically called it a farce. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Nothing is confirming. My usual load that I pick up on Tuesday morning still hasn't confirmed, and many other still sitting in unconfirmed status. Very odd.
