Yeah you're not just going to walk into a UPS hub and inform them that you're here for your $100k/yr line driver job. Most of those guys have been hanging around for a decade or more doing the crap work waiting for those bids to open up. That's the way it's gonna be in any major metro area. I've been told it's not completely unheard of for a guy to get hired off the street directly into their big trucks but it's like winning the lottery or more likely if you know the right people who can grease the wheels for you.
Package car drivers are more commonly hired off the street. I applied once for that in Maspeth Queens when I lived in Brooklyn and I think I was the only white guy there. Needless to say they weren't giving whitey one of the "Black people only" jobs.![]()
Where can I make at least $1500 a week paychecks?

If you have your Hazmat, cryogenic work generally pays that and more.. I'm quite a ways north of that myself, but I'm out a little bit longer than most of the other cryo guys. Generally speaking, you can make that kind of money running for Praxair, Airgas, Air Products, etc. and be home every night.
