My friend that runs out of L.A. was dispatched by Ft Worth for a while. It recently became a corporate terminal.
He wasn't impressed. He could never seem to get anyone on the phone, and after a few weeks they just sorta...forgot about him.
So as soon as he could he got back to California and has been running for his affiliate since.

Interesting story.
Just this week, I delivered near home here in Wisconsin.
There were 2 other affiliates trucks also from Gulf Coast Carriers...or Gulf Coast Express..whatever it is.
After unloading they were routed back to Chicago to wash out, which neither wanted to do. I told them to asked about the tank wash in Neenah, WI.
One was told that wash wouldn't touch that product.
The guy unloading us said that was odd because that's where that Co-op takes their tanks at the end of the season.
When I unloaded, I went to Neenah and dropped my tank, handed them the BOL and SDS, they immediately recognized the product and said it wouldn't be a problem.
Draw your own conclusions. -
Washing in Neenah probably costs $5 more....... Lp time/mt miles are free.....
