Ok but if you run into trouble getting a ship to get you in asap, look under the truck on the drivers side. At the front of the tank should be an air inlet. The check valve is directly behind that, i don't remember if it was 12 inches, or farther. I do remember i was able to change it with a 1/4 inch drive deep well socket, an extension or 2, and a small cheater pipe on the ratchet for leverage. But god help me remember the socket size. I just remember it had to be a thin wall to fit inside that inlet. Maybe a 3/4 or 11/16ths.
No air pressure in secondary tank

I do think of all of you today and wish this resolves well so you don't have to deal with that valve again ever. When they fix it, tell them to give you a complete pair so that if it goes out again, YOU can snap in a new one.Lepton1 Thanks this. -

Its a small world man, I'm pretty sure I passed your truck on the way to the Ogburns parts store behind western auto. Hope they get you fixed up quick!Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Okay, the air dryer and filter are mounted in front of the wet/secondary tank. Mario saw a broken mount from the dryer to the wet tank, tested whether there is any pressure coming from the dryer in that port and there is none.
He will take the dryer off and see if there is any access to the check valve. The image in the pdf file posted by @WrenchWrenchWrench doesn't look quite the same because of the air dryer assembly mounted in front. We both looked for a top mounted check valve, but it isn't there. -
Well, this particular model has NO check valve on the wet/secondary tank. Mario took the end valve off after removing the air dryer and there's no port at all in either side of the tank. Perhaps that's built into the dryer itself?
At any rate the clue is that there is zero pressure coming from the air dryer port going to the wet/secondary tank. Ergo bad dryer. We've ordered a dryer from Freightliner and once that is on it should fix the problems. -
Well if you had primary air you were definitely getting air through your dryer and wet tank to feed your primary tank. Ive worked on 07 columbias and the dryer was up at the bumper... maybe it's accessible from the rear of the tank?
