Hair testing

Someone posted on here they failed a hair test and it was longer than 90 days

 

The ganja that's around is pretty strong stuff. I know for a fact that depending on the person you can fail a piss test at 90 days clean. Hair test could be 6 months or longer even though they say 90 days. Best to just not smoke at all and avoid any companies that do a hair test. It's not worth it to smoke and try to have a career in this industry.

I personally have known guys that smoke on a regular basis and have methods to try and pass and they do for the most part but also some and usually most get caught at some point.

Plus if you test positive after an accident where someone died you will be looking at a lengthy prison sentence.

 

Suppose you are someone that just lives to smoke weed. It's your twist. Just so happens you drive truck. You quit someplace when you have a bank roll, and smoke the ganja until you run out of money. You wait 4 or 5 weeks and get a new job.

There was a dude at CEMEX that I knew was a doper, and finally he got a random at the wrong time for him. Well he took the quiz, but he quit that afternoon. I'm told because he was no longer an employee there, that his dirty test was void, and didn't go on his record.

I believe this, because he is currently driving for another concrete company here in town. Pot wasn't his twist, coke was.
I was told by a Captain I knew that was still in the Naval Reserve, that hair can go back years.

I have no first hand knowledge of dirty tests or how long hair goes back though.

 

Plenty of guys smoke, I lived in Colorado doing redimix as well as Tahoe doing the same and guys at both places smoke all the time. Usually get a heads up when they are up for a random. Weed is the only drug any one worries about failing a test. All the other drugs are out of the body in a few days.

My only point is that eventually if you do it you can get by for only so long until lucks not on your side. Is it really worth it to risk your entire career or livelihood of your family? I don't think so but to each their own.

 

If the company just administers a pee test, then yes, it is a trick. If they do a hair test, move on. Those companies don't have a safety agenda, they have a political one.

 

Just go to a company that doesn't do the hair test. Problem solved.

 

I would never go to a company that does the hair test just on principal alone.
