Sober Addict Starting CDL School with Accident/Criminal/Medical Check Questions?

Thanks bro. Have you known anyone with an expunged felony to cross into Canada without issues? Just wondering if a different federal background check is done when you're crossing boarders 1st time for a company. Also, I got my MVR from the DMV and I am good to go! I guess accidents aren't reported to the DMV unless the responding officer writes a report that states you were at fault.

 

Thanks I was going to edit and write that I wasn't sure whether or not not-at-faults make the MVR but that mine hadn't. Ya beat me to it!

 

hmmm that website basically says that I am admissible into canada without a passport. But the language is a little complex. If I read correctly, it says that I can call a US VISA OFFICE to ask if I am permissible into canada. That's not exactly going to help me figure out if my expunged convictions would be on a federal background check, but, it is a step toward figuring out if I will be able to drive over the boarder. I will look into this further and maybe I'll call a US Visa Office to ask more questions, thank you bro.

 

Anyone have any opinions on what a better option would be in terms of school or terminal school contract? Living in CT, I've only got so many options & unfortunately these #### schools haven't renewed their contract with the WIOA grant office, not 1 of them. SO even if I qualify for the WIOA grant, I'll have to wait until each school files under the new contract for this year.

Is there a good thread here about pre-hire letters? I hear people talk about them but I'm unsure of how they work. I've called several companies & most of them told me I would have to go to school in my state 1st. I guess I'll have to search out a list of CT companies that offer schooling? If any1 can help please let me know, I will return the favor if I ever can.
