Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

A couple weeks ago on I75 in Michigan a very nice lady went through the effort of scribbling a message saying my brake lights weren't working and then hold it up while driving beside me until I noticed it.

She spelled "brake" incorrectly, but being the understanding guy I am, I let her off with it as she was only trying to help me.

That and she was really good looking in spite of her grammatical shortcomings.

 

Nah, Gatorade shuffle!

 

Reminds of when I was in the Navy. A long time ago I was in the Duty Office. The duty officer kept asking the assistant how you spell words. After spelling a lot of words for him. The assistant asked how many years were you in college sir? He told him my major was engineering not f####### English.

 

In Winterville,@chralb they had plenty of trailers in wytheville,starting with a 5 lol

 

My response would have been that it was pretty impressive that he was able to bypass elementary and high school and go straight into an engineering degree program.

I wouldn't have done well in the military at all.

 

I would rather haul Gatorade in a reefer. I hate sitting.

I just today realised I got my dates wrong and I have a day longer on this load than I originally thought.

 

He was a Naval Academy graduate. I'm sure his SAT scores were high.

 

Ahhh, ok. I'm doing good, how are things solo?

 

Got a St. Charles, IL to Groveport. Actually having a good week mile wise. Requested a day off to get out of the truck for a day. We'll see what happens.
