Serious talk, hand...if I hated your guts, I would still tell you to look elsewhere. You're asking about arguably 2 of the worst companies in existence. You choose a job like you have low self esteem. Cmon amigo, you don't have to start THAT low. Find a better gig. Quite easy to do considering how crappy those two companies are.

"But Six, I got a prehire letter."

Wipe your arse with it and find a better job.

I generally agree, but if you have a crappy driving record right out of school, your options are limited.

Out of school, Abilene, System transport/TWT, Magnum LTD are three good companies that hire out of school and aren't insanely picky.

But if you have a really bad driving record, Swift, CR England, etc may be in your future for a year.

Suck it up, pay your dues and move on. -And stop getting tickets.

What's wrong with CRST? I admit I haven't done much research into them... But on paper, they look like your average National biggie company? Blue Cross medical with vision + dental, 401Kmatched after 90 days... Do they have a bad reputation? Is the pay lower than average?

CRST works for some drivers. @John Dewart (he's from Hartford,CT)was successful there and posted about it. The biggest issue is you must run teams until your contract is fulfilled, then you can run dedicated solo routes or continue teaming.

I'm actually sort-of looking for a company that teams you out with an experienced driver. I'm looking to "run HARD" as i heard people say. aha. I read somewhere that the pay is 36cpm right now, idk if that's true or not. I don't really take issue with teaming my first year. I don't know... But i definitely don't want an auto truck. :p

I'll add em to the list. They advertise in my local online job sites, so they must like us east coasters. lol

Something tells me i just don't have enough time logged on researching companies just yet...
