second that dang all I have was a few dumb mistakes, but added to my adult record would just complicate things. Like the judge said, " Your just a wave of misdemeanors I'm gonna max you out so you learn your lesson." well sure did ruined my marriage which was everything. You have no idea the pain and suffering it took to lose her. I though I was in love with all the girls before nope. She was my soul mate corny, but I never even wanna date again and im 25 no ######## just truth. So off to my dreams I go and all that other stuff just leave in the rearview mirror.

I remember when I got my TWIC looking at the pamphlet for offenses that would disqualify you. It was SERIOUS stuff like murder, treason, espionage, etc... I think if you knocked down some mailboxes as a teen you'd be fine.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Hey! One says, I'll bet it'd be even better if we layed it in the tracks lengthways!
It was
A couple months later, same scenario, but a large rolled up mesh fence caught their eye.
That was the one that caught the Pinkerton men's attention.
Much like butch Cassidy
They were tired of shipping out giant cranes to lift the train and dig the crap out.
Don't #### with the railroad.x1Heavy and firemedic2816 Thank this. -
Unless your applying for a security clearance. The FBI check is basically for any current wants and warrants.
If you are applying for a security rating secret or better, I wouldn't be so naïve to think the FBI can't look at the juvenile records.
A childhood friend of mine joined Air Force he had to get a secret clearance. He said the interviewer knew everything that we had done as teenagers. They had a list they had him read.
Either they looked in the court records or interviewed a lot of people.
I don't remember any one coming around asking detailed questions.x1Heavy Thanks this. -

Also, if you're a U.S. citizen, don't worry about criminal records in foreign countries. They never think to check those.

As for the TWIC, Hazmat check. Do not worry about it, the websites tells you exactly what would get you disapproved. Most felonies are not apart of that list, so you can get approved. The FBI cannot see your sealed records, even if they are as an adult, unless you commit another felony crime that would make you a repeat offender. Military bases also can only see what is on the federal databases. They cannot see anything sealed, but if you have a felony regardless of the age, they may not let you on base. I cannot talk about Canada, since I have never or will never go to that place...eh!Rusty Trawler Thanks this. -
To avoid myths and hyperbole I suggest you go to the TWIC website and research these questions. I say this because there are several replies to your question that quote myths. TWIC and hazmat checks are used by the same agency.Last edited: Sep 4, 2016
