They park there when they are in the area, and have as long as I have been going out there, but I might never see the place in a truck again.
Asplund is anywhere I have ever been, and their old vehicles are being run by local companies after Asplund trades or sells them off.
They like to park where they won't get hit, hence the back end of the lot with no through traffic.bzinger Thanks this. -
Most likely, at least around here, the landscaping company doesn't have the room in their yard for all the trucks so are paying a monthly fee to the truck stop for parking. And since the truck stop is actually getting money they don't care about the "freeloaders" (as they see it anyway) that need to do their 10.

Zvar is on the money. It is their lot to do with as they wish, and I can and do go elsewhere. My favorites are the joints that have pickup trucks parked in the spots saving them for the schmucks that live locally who are home every night. Truckstops have to decide who their real clientele is. Either you cater to the "traveling public" as a travel center or you are a local truckstop catering to local drivers/businesses.
