Yup it was small town to small town. That trip was actually under 300 miles (part of longer trip) still if I took the route they paid me for it would be only 1 mile short and I mean adress to adress so they are pretty accurate.

Make sure next time they pay you for more miles than you drove, you cut your boss a check for the difference.

I'm sure if it was your company, you'd pay your 2,000 drivers hub miles and allow them to run whatever route they wanted.

I run anywhere between -1% to 3% "OOR" miles as compared to paid miles.

I tell those people or companies that use pc miler to show me a truck that can travel the path of a crow and then we can use pc miler until then you pay me what I drive!

And why would I do that ST?I don't care about making extra miles.I drive a truck not a taxi.I did 2 nd trip that week, some 1400 miles. So 3600 total for the week. And yes I am allowed to take any route I want except for PA turnpike.I don't dig some of you guys siding with blood sucking companies against a fellow driver.

in all my years of running the road, no company ever paid me exact miles. back then, it was paid by HHG book miles.

i never got paid hub miles either, as there was always some subtraction due to being lost or out of route..

every company i worked for paid about 5% to 20% less as they figured out of route, or getting lost, or spinning the wheels in a truck stop.

you are not working for free, if you really feel that way, jump ship, buy your own rig and trailer, charge what you can get, good luck on that as well. when everyone is giving discounts, you'll still be demanding high dollars for your services. how much then do you think you'll be earning, or working for free?

seriously, it is the way it is. don;t like it? move onto buying your own stuff, be done with the low pay you are talking about or the free work as well.

Yes. Why would you do that? It's the "me, me, me" attitude. No consideration for the other side of the employee/employer relationship. It's all about ME, the employee. SMH

I have none. I work for a company that pays actual miles. So I get paid what I turn in. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't steal from my company, why would I want them to steal from me?
