Wha yourself. :^)
I think rig rockets are ridiculous. Give me a mid-60's shortbed stepside with manual everything and I'm gtg. First time I visited Carlsbad was in a 64 D100 I drove out from PA to see the west.
But if you want a rocket, you can afford the payments, I've seen your stubs. :^)
So, to be simple, the oilfields are dead?

Yes the Oilfields are dead in the absence of the Rates of 2015, no as of 2016 the rates are not the best, but you can still make money $800-1200 a day depending on what you haul.there are no more big fracking jobs going on in North Dakota, or Colorado or Utah, but there is Crude to be Hauled for the $800-1200 a day. It come out to $30.00 and hour. I wish it would come back to when 2014/2015 when the truck was making $500.00 and hour in the Bakken!!!

I also talked with Prairie Field Services regarding their Casper WY yard. Man told me his drivers are still averaging $275-$350 a day. I grilled him on this and he maintained as long as you don't have a breakdown, or some other issue, you will make that money. He also said they are so busy, in the next month or so they are transferring 25 more trucks to that yard.

I'll have to check out Nuvera, Thanx for the info!!!

I checked nuvera from their careers site.
They pay $18 per hour while training and starts out at 19% commission on load.
When I started hauling water out of Watford city and Sidney, Montana. I made 25% of load and I was just a green horn.
The barrel rate back in 2014 was $2.15
Per barrel. When I left in 2015 Continental Resources dropped the rate to: 2.05 per bl.
Nuvera is offering 19% commission per barrel.
Without knowing what the rate is, it's a gamble to think you're going to make good money out there in the patch.
You also have to keep in mind, that while earning commission you are at the mercy of your dispatcher whether you make any real money or not.
Anyone with experience out there will know what I'm talking about.AC22 and Utahtrucker Thank this. -
They need to show the rates@ Iowa Tank lines, we were given the rate sheets for all the upcoming fracs/production work, would like to see the rate from 2015 come back @ $5.64 a bbl for fresh hot water!!! cold water was paying $4.00 bbl. plus I was hauling a 170 bbl tri-axle trailer.
Indignant trucker Thanks this.
