So I had my mind set on jumping over to KTS because they offer the things I'm looking for. Smallish company, loaded new trucks (fridge, inverter, apu, etc) and they either do 48 full or the western 11, which im partial to driving out west. It's my favorite part of the country to drive in.
But then I remembered about a month ago a driver from Hirshbach talked to me about what they offer, and he said their trucks are all newer, fully loaded, etc etc. Took what he said with a grain of salt because I knew he was in "recruiting" mode-just trying to get that extra dollar by saying anything. Googled them, and for the most part, he was spot on. Except they don't really run out west at all. Which is a small letdown, but in the grand scheme of things, miles are miles wherever they go.

Which brings me to my question: which company would be best?
Anyone who works or knows someone who works for either company please chime in. And if you happen to know the location of any Texas based terminals for either company, I'd like to know that, too, seeing as all of my home time will be split between east and west Texas.
Which reminds me, I also prefer to stay out 6 weeks at a time (it's what im used to now) and take 5-6 days off. Being this is for a company driver position, I'm not getting my hopes up that this would be an option.

    Thanks yall

Hirschbach was the last company to fire me. However, I enjoyed my time there. I made good money, they left me alone. I had a 2014 International. The day I was fired, I had just traded the truck in for a 2017. Never actually go in it but I did open the door and it smelled nice.

Hirschbach has you sign a Lease contract. But it isn't a lease purchase as you never really end up owning the truck. You end up with an option to buy it. But the price to purchase it is not really a bargain so I never knew anyone who did the purchase.

They are a reefer company so you run at night. They get to the ports in Houston area and one the Eastern Seaboard. They give you prepass and tolls are paid. Really nothing bad to say about them. They do a good job pre planing you so you can manage your time off.

Remember lots of the Lease on things are to avoid paying you medical and Hirschbach does not offer medical insurance.

I drive dedicated as a company driver. There is insurance for company drivers. Also your dm will work with you on your schedule preferences. Good company for the most part. They have a terminal in Denton.
