TransAm company drivers get over 2000 miles a week.
The dispatchers just get crazy with swaps (repower loads). I think sometimes the dispatchers were practicing on me. And the hometime is crazy also.
Do 6 months then haul ###, with what sanity you have kept. -
Is 2,000 miles a week considered good at TransAm?

Hope this isn't our boy:

The author has a sense of humor: "A truck driver from Indiana learned about the tight turn near Juckett Park on Friday morning."
Whoever it was really peeled up on that curb.Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
TransAm hauls mostly from the large meat packing houses. You do 10 plus hours waiting on them to load your trailer. Then you run 700 to 1200 miles to cold storage or grocery d.c., that's 6 or 7 hours you wait to unload.
When I was at transam I got about 2500 miles average. I would do swaps once to twice a week( because they take loads from drivers if load looks late)Broke Down 69, Scooter Jones and bamalife123 Thank this. -
I'll take 2000 to 2500 with a smile while I get 6 months just like u said that's my exact planBroke Down 69 Thanks this.

TransAm is infamous in the town of SHAMOKIN, PA.(banned for life from town)
A newbie hit poles, cars and a house and kept rolling. Police caught him 10 miles away. Said he was following gps.
They were talking about this for a Long time at transam.Broke Down 69, Weeezerd and austinmike Thank this.
