My company Great Plains Transport could be an option, they've improved after the big split from holland last year, gotten good miles and good runs again. I'd say roughly .38- .40 a mile to start + bonuses and newer nicely spec'd out & maintained equipment. Of course it's a reefer company , but an option if you decide to run it. They do require at least a year be experience and be willing to run all 48 states.

I'll 2nd K&B if you're looking for solid pay checks, a lot of 2200-1000 runs though according to a buddy that works there. Guarantee is only for non hometime weeks, and dispatch will walk all over you if you don't stand up for yourself lol. But the miles are always there!

They require you to be at least 24 years old don't they? I believe that's what their website says

I can't remember the name of the outfit, but there's a company right there in Wichita that's supposed to be pretty decent. My advice would be to look for a good company that is based as close to where you live as you can find.

Keim TS has two terminals in Kansas (Corporate in Sabetha, KS. and one in Medicine Lodge, KS.---just southwest of Wichita). You'd be nestled right between them so home weekends would be a given.

Don't hear or read much bad about them...but you can't be scared of flatbed, because that's what they do.

Kansas has all kinds of trucking companies. Especially refer loads or hauling animals.
