I wonder how much that toll bridge is really going to help. Surprised they aren't building a bridge on Walter Strawn at 53. That whole industrial area was designed horribly.

Yes, but it wouldn't be so bad if you could turn right out of G4 and could take Manhattan and Wallace Strawn.

WHEN DID THEY BUILD A TRUCKSTOP ON Chicago STREET (53)?

Boy oh Boy I used to like the Joliet area...Not anymore- Progress made that area an eyesore now.....

1 Good thing still exists- Go North on Chicago 2 blocks off I-80 and the Best Bakery Around the SouthWest-Milano's

There is 2 a Pilot and an Independent with a Pops Italian Beef and Dunkin Donuts.

I think the Independent is 2 or 3 year old and the Pilot is maybe a year.

Both are at Laraway and 53

Route 66 is 3 years old I believe. Pilot is maybe a year. Funny thing is, route 66 built and 20'S doing great business, so pilot decided they had to get in on the action.

Well if you guys went to Elwood today, you would have seen this was not a scale. At least, not yet. They're digging right where it would be, and it's just dirt. I guess they're going to put in a scale now.
