Alot of drivers are doing nothing wrong. There overhead is high. As long as they keep the truck they will be good in the long run. Most of guys on here know this so I'm not breaking news. My point is dry van is not as bad as what some will make it sound.

Other problems is many of the new folks that quickly washout treat the load board like a travelocity and go based on locations they like, rather staying in the best freight lanes possible. That, and the fetish with having to run long loads for low rates and depending on high miles to cover their weekly expenses. Both of these are recipes for failure.

Walk away lease and.90 a mile is what
Rates and lanes. Seems so many get tied up in the minutiae of s corps, LLC, and so on in the beginning that what really matters becomes secondary. It's cool to have a great business sense but if you don't have the principles of the basics down first it becomes a lost cause.
I in know way knock those who lease trucks. Will probably go that route in the near future. Maybe very near. Just glad I already know before hand what I am getting into.

Another reason to pull a flat, keeping one engine going can be an excitement passion with these new emmisions. Imagine keeping two dpf equipped engines running smooth. That would give me nightmares.

Another reason to pull a box. Half of the population will always need tampons. The other half will be watching football and eating potato chips. Both of witch will always be in a box no matter what the economy is doing. I think I have had enough to drink.lol.
