Well, I am in the truck w my trainer , teammate (I'm guessing, he's driving bob tail to where we going to pick up the trailer . So I'm guessing I'm going to b the one driving it with the big trailer box (never have) so this is gonna b interesting ... Another thing I thought we were gonna b taking the 10 speed , and we actually have an automatic n this is the one I'll b using I guess it's a good thing because I'm a rookie n have never driven one , but also bad because I really want to learn to drive 10 speeds as well .. But that's what the company decided to give us I guess .

I didn't know enough to be nervous. I had a license so sure I can do it. Turns out there is much more to this then I thought there was.

Started out as a team driver, with another student.
Nice having a second set of eyes.
After a few runs,it just becomes second nature.

Not crazy at all. Empty docks screw me up too. I like having other trailers reference points.

I had one of those trainers that constantly screamed at his wife on the phone leaning forward blocking my mirror. It was a nice relief being by myself. Most of my time was in the Northeast.

Still remember pulling out on i44 in my CFI red 13spd kW t600 with a cat pulling a high value load of copper. All I had to support me was one duffle bag and company provided address. No phone no GPS no nothing cept underwear & a toothbrush.

So do you have an auto restricted liscense? How could you have never driven a manual with no restriction to drive one?
