I worked for a sister company of Titan Transfer in Middle TN. Their reputation is tons of miles, the most you can figure out to put in your logs. If you like to run, run, run that's an option. I worked for Goggin in Shelbyville, TN. You could run however you liked, legal as a judge or go,go,go. Their OTR business was sold to Old Dominion in 1998, IIRC.

Well, guess I can just apply for some jobs that y'all have suggested and go from there. I do have a little time left before I have to make a decision. I really do appreciate all the information y'all have provided me. Just like most people, just don't want to be stuck with something where I would get the short end of the stick.

@matt687 If you have any questions please let me know. I'm getting ready to retire from the Army in the next couple of months and went to Troops to Transportation at Fort Benning back in March. I have a job lined up with Superior Carriers as soon as I get on terminal leave. I will have to do a refresher in November and I'm hoping to be driving by December. This site is great and where I got most of my info and help. If any questions just let me know. Good luck to you and be safe over there!

Hi Matt, I highly recommend Schneider for military vets. I've been there 3 months now and they have done real good by me. Helped me get all my paperwork done for the Army BAH pay for 12 months and don't stick you in a trainers truck for 6 months. I did 3 weeks training after cdl school and then was on my own truck. I drive a brand new Kenworth. They have also been real good about helping me find a position within the company to get me home every night since I'm a single dad. The money is decent and the office staff are friendly and willing to help.
