I worked with a guy there, and he called every day to keep the truck loaded. He tried, or at least he claimed, to get me a better rate than they had listed. They paid quickly. No problems, except the rates weren't that great.
XPO logistics and Coyote logistics good or bad ?

I've done some O.D. loads for Coyote just after they acquired Access America a few years ago and they gave me my rate every time. I was pleased with them but, lately they only seem to have bottom dollar flatbed freight for me which I am not interested in.

Lately they are the cheapest on the board. Period. Van, reefer, or flatbed. They will milk a rate all day.

If you get a good rep from XPO and are running a dry van you should be good. They don't have much, if any, reefer freight.
As for Coyote, they're good usually. I should mention, please make sure you check the real mileage. Don't trust their loaded mileage or deadhead. I've found an algorithm for figuring their loads out... Add 40 miles to DH mileage, and add at least 100 to loaded miles and you'll have your true mileage. Make sure you get a rate confirmation if you're requesting ANY detention. Don't hang up till you get it.
Right now, rates are bad all around. Dry vans make more $ than reefers do. As for Coyote, they're out to undercut most carriers just as everyone else is. Figures... the person doing all the work makes the least amount of money. -
Just avoid them. I had to sue them to get my money.

Lite bug Thanks this.
