twin citys Chicago freight

I'm looking in to buying my own truck and trailer. I know where a little bit of freight is but wanted to know how freight staying some what local out of the twin citys and Chicago was? I've heard of some freight going down there for 400 and I hear same make great money. I would like to run wi mn ia il sd nd but from what I've heard he freight put of the Dakotas is cheap.

Not looking for people to give me freight want to know how freight pays around here. I won't buy untill the first of the year.

Peterbilt 379 or 59 short bunk flat to with a 48' Flat bed. With steel and lumber tarps. I won't deal with menards I worked there once when I was younger I think they were cheap and a pita... if your not 79, 990 they send you back for some other stupid thing.

I have a couple things set up but they are busy summer only winter they pretty much come to a halt.
