    As a trainer I try to never make a mistake of being behind the trailer or in any position where I could get crushed. I always position myself where driver can look and see me at all times, or he don't move unless he can see me.
    If I back and see someone around my truck I watch them until I know they are safely away from my backing zone.
    Sad to hear about this, but it is too common it seems.
