Be very careful. The joys of talking to recruiters mask the idea that you are fresh meat to them.
I hate to be the rain on the parade. Very very careful dealing with these people. I have never met a recruiter except maybe twice in my entire run all my life who was spot on. Everyone else said anything necessary. Up to lies.

Thanks, thing is, this didn't really sound all that good anyway. I just want to be sure I'm being realistic and not expecting too much.
My being 37 and having 5 kids to provide for isn't the trucking company's problem, but I does affect what I can afford to make. -
36¢... No.
What does it cap at....? We make tons more than that. -
Another local, I see from your profile. Where do you work?TequilaSunrise Thanks this.
-
.36? That's pretty good, but it's not enough. You want maybe .50 but ###### your years of experience before you get past that half dollar. 5 kids? I salute you. There were times we let go food because we could. But never with kids.
Spyke Thanks this. -
I've found the DBL's to be much bigger liars and manipulators than my recruiter was. I don't trust a thing they say anymore.
-
What are DBL's? I've seen it before on this board but can't quite infer from the context.
-
driver's business leader or driver's business liar. either works.
