Fun? Maybe we have different definitions of the word. Recovery is a way to make money while your truck is in the shop. Makes no difference if you're new or a veteran, if you're going to be down for a few days, recovery is an option.

My motto has always been, when in doubt, EAT BREAKFAST!

Well, I suppose it's more lucrative than sitting on your butt in a motel room, waiting for your junker to come out of the shop!
Here's a question for you, if you do not choose to do the repo work, do they pay you anything at all for"breakdown" pay? And would they pay for your motel?Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
So tell us how the pay works, do you get cpm for flying if so is it regular cpm? What other pay do you get.
Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
Breakfast it was...guess we think alike.
As for the repo question I don't really know. I've never turned down a chance to get in a better truck. Both I've gone to get have been essentially brand new.
I get CPM for flying and a recovery fee as well as expenses. How much is between me and payroll.Weeezerd, Hick, austinmike and 1 other person Thank this. -
You know, I LIKE that answer. Because it wouldn't matter how much it is, if you had posted an amount, somebody or other would come on here telling you how badly you're getting screwed.
-
Yeah they probably would have.Hick and Pintlehook Thank this.
-
Main thing is that it's working for YOU.Broke Down 69, austinmike and Lonesome Thank this.

This is the most depressing thread I have ever read. So many things here at play that are so wrong.
Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
Oh I don't know about that. We've got a young fella here who is getting some valuable experience, while making enough money to satisfy him. Is something wrong with that?Weeezerd, Broke Down 69, Pintlehook and 2 others Thank this.
-
If he is satisfied then I guess no. But I don't care about the experience. It's just like living in the ghetto. Get out before it becomes the norm. Just get out.Broke Down 69 Thanks this.
