2016 Freightliner M2 106...Dash(lights and gauges) die and truck goes into neutral while driving.
what could be the problem? The dealership/garage cant figure anything out, no help

 

...in neutral, I pulled to the side of the road, shut the truck off, and the truck would not start again for about 1 minute. Then it was able to start(for some reason?) and I drove on. This has happened several times recently.

 

It's an automatic. No, the truck does not shut off. This is not an "eco coast" issue. The gauges and lights on the dash shut off...and the low air alarm sounds. So, all of the sudden, I am trying to accelerate and, really, I'm just revving the engine. I look down and the truck is in Neutral and it will not switch into Drive. So I pulled over, shut the truck off, tried to turn the truck back on and nothing would happen... So I waited, about 1 minute, and when i turned the key, the truck started. This has happened 3 or 4 times recently.

 

dont know the last 6...I think it's just the dash lights and gauges that go off, cant really see the outside lights, and the radio stays on. Yes, allison transmission
