How long did you sit waiting for that 160 mile relay?
-
If we don't count the 10 hour break... 6 1/2 hours...
-
You mean on I-69? That Love's was always our first break point when we lived in Fort Wayne and were visiting family near Louisville. Having a newborn (at the time) necessitated frequent stops.mickeyrat Thanks this.

So basically you were halfway through a restart and had to break it to finish a load that didn't need to be relayed in the first place. Logistics.

Oh no. I got there at 5pm yesterday. He showed up at 930 this morning. Got to receiver at 1320 (timezones suck) and they said to come back at 5am tomorrow. And yeah, it would have needed to be relayed to make original delivery appt of 8am and it would have needed to be there at the latest by 4am to make it. Since he had to take a 10 on the way (he only drove it 120 miles to get to me), it didn't need to be relayed at all. And he probably could have made 1300 if just going straight there.
It's pretty impressive how they managed to screw this up.
At least my next load didn't get pulled which is impressive. They extended pickup and drop time instead.AM14 Thanks this. -
