I didn't know Shippers Choice was still in business. I graduated from there in 2004, and thought it was a decent school. I did full time classes Monday thru Friday and graduated in about 4 weeks. Needless to say, I didn't learn an extreme amount, just enough to pass my course and get my CDL. But, thought it was adequate enough.

Mechanically sound and good looking are two very different things, assuming you talking about the yellow/black dump? That was a paving company that came to fix up the parking lot when I was going there, and they wound up buying the truck, should've slapped a paint job on it.

Appearance and mechanical went hand on hand on that thing. Took 5 mins for the guy to start it because the starter wouldn't engage the fly wheel. Tail lights half painted over. Missing marker lights. Could hear the exhaust leaks as it drove by. No way it would pass a state inspection. But like i said there A trucks looked good.
