Just driving a truck should make you $1200 - $1500 a week. Work back from there.

I grabbed a gotta have it there today kind of Hazmat load off a load board that paid $1150 for a 350 mile run. If the company is customer direct and not using brokers, it can be more.

But then the YUGE question is, "If the company owner is such a miserly jerk he wants to nickel and dime his employees, would you trust him to reveal the actual amount billed to the customer?" My bet is that he's probably skimming off the top and making you "pay" for office overhead as well.

Glad you posted the real information about this shyster outfit.

I see a lot of Groendyke trucks in Oklahoma and Texas. I don't know anything about their pay scale, but the trucks and tankers look like they are well maintained.

    Mecic68w Thanks this.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that guy, I did ask him if drivers get to see the invoice amount for the load, he did say yes though. Maybe he misunderstood, lied or would make up some bullcrap invoice, who knows.

Yeah, I applied to Groendyke this past week online but haven't heard anything. Guess I'll call them tomorrow

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
