PAM CARTAGE CARRIERS

To be honest, I had just left road runner on bad terms and my choices was really slim; I took a shot in the dark with PAM CC. So far it has been great and certain lanes that they offer are drop & hook; however, the great accounts are a hire within type of gig but you can turn a decent pay check on live load and drop accounts. The pay is $1.08rpm all in which includes fuel surcharge; however, once on a account you are given a work week that will get you home for the weekends every week picking up and dropping at the same places all the time so get use to seeing and stopping at the same places for fuel lol.

 

Barely any deductions, you are charged for insurance which I have my own but I have a sheet that they deduct just under $100 a month; I'm not to sure and No charge for Qualcomm usage. The way PAM CC has it set up is monthly deductions so you deposit great money for three weeks but than deductions hit the fourth week, plates are $730 and that's deducted weekly and of course fuel if you decide to use an outside source they do not complain; however, Pam gives their ICs five percent off the cash price no matter where you fuel. Some accounts haul heavy but most accounts are under 25k loaded and you return with a back haul of empty racks weighing 2k - 15k; the account I'm on we pick up 12k and bring back 15k so fuel is not a big deduction every week. If you have any questions let me know and I will be glad to answer, like I said I took a shot in the dark and only heard bad about Pam which I found out it's the company side that's having pay troubles, it was either Pam cc or universal lol and the decision was made.

 

Still pushing strong with PAM CC , fuel surcharge is .19 ; Insurance $182.99 a month if you have your own physical damage insurance , they still do not charge for Qualcomm and also if you get their prepass/toll responder its $15.60 a month unlimited tolls. Any accounts out of Michigan is pure drop and hook from the Chrysler plants, runs out of Ohio is drop and hook as well. Do not send your trucks otr because the weight varies and the loads are overflow from the dedicated runs.

 

payroll has been on point for the most part , and if your drivers run up a repair bill in your truck, you can have Pam cover the expenses then deduct from your settlements at no charge just the amount owed on the bill. Payroll has no problem with setting up a payment plan where they can deduct as low as $50 a week until the amount owed on repairs are paid up.
