Schneider National Carriers - Green Bay, Wi.

I just grad truck school(not schnieder school) and was hired as a OTR national driver. So I will be a rookie. I just wondering wat Ill be doing next. Van division.

 

Well technically you arent hired on until they run you through the tests. I think they will put you through a four day class just basic stuff for paperwork and all that. Standard stuff. However, they will most likely bring you out to an OC and have you take a drive test...make sure you know how to use a qualcomm (aka...lie) as they will ask you and saying no is bad.

One of my buddies...one that I roomed with down there, he went to a truck school as well and SNI asked him basic questions about the qcomm and such and he didn't know how to use it, so they suggested heavily (i believe) that he stay for the two weeks. Since he had a CDL llready they wrent going to charge him for the the training and he was very happy he stayed because he said he learned quite a bit.

UMMMMM???? - Seems like a lot of "hoopla" from Schneider Representatives on this site - I do not agree

 

Sounds like theres way too much to thay story to consider it an "average" drivers experience? If not, then I wish'em the best.
