As soon as I get some free time I will dig in the dash and swap everything to a single antenna, from there I can get a new mount and new antenna's as needed.
-
I know some Freightliners have the mirror bracket attached with pop pins. Shake loose very easily. A Wilson 2000 or similar will bend and flex a whole lot more than fiberglass!!!!!
-
You must be talking about the whip flexing.
It is difficult to bend a 3/8" shaft. Partly why I would recomment a longer shaft and shorter whip.
-
This is kinda similar but does not flex at all.
-
That is true but pulling a hopper around means low clearance. More flex would be a good thing for him. Seen plenty of long fiberglass antennas broke in tight grain elevators.WHY NOT and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
-
Exactly. If its long it needs to be more flexible.
