I'm out here in west Texas raising two little girls away from all the insanity in this country... although I was born and raised in western Mn farm country and still have farmland up there. I will alway go to Georgia if the load pays right... but anymore just like to run the midwest central states where there's less truck haters...

Fist person I'd call would be Ed at Oklahoma Turbo Diesel.
I'm not entirely sure he can do it, but, if not, I bet he knows who can. -
Call these guy they are the old school guys, but also have the modern technology. http://www.pittsburghpower.com/

What do you want to do?. A cat service manual is pretty self explanatory on fixing them.

Let me state that differently. It you do not want to deal with Cat or work on it yourself there is a network of professional independent shops that do just that. I believe they are also connected through their organisation to offer nation wide warranty. Search diesel.org/warranty. Click on "Find Location" and enter cities in your area. If you get a personal reference to a shop that is also an ADS member they should rate 4 or 5 stars.Bob Trehus Thanks this.

To all of you who have taken a minute to help me with all the info... Thanks... and may God bless us all... or the universe smile upon us... Thanks so much... I love my old Pete... Back in the mid 80s when I was sitting in a 9670 international... I watched 359s roll into the truckstop at night and I said to myself " someday I'm gonn own one of them", yeah I love this old girl, she's family... Thanks again to all of you...
wore out and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -
Welch Diesel in Des Moines, Google him and you will find the phone number. Otherwise message me and I will give you his email. He is one of the very best at Cat mechanical engines.
I love two stick set ups, and still remember the first time I hung the brownie up from rounding the shift pattern, as well how to pop it free with a large screwdriver bar. Sound familiar @Woreout?Last edited: Oct 6, 2016

Bob Trehus Thanks this. -
Been there done that. Running my left through the steering wheel was a hard thing for me to learn. Both my trucks are family. Nothing better than a B model CAT in my opinion, or a 359.
I agree about Welch diesel. I thought I knew about a CAT. I learned more from reading his post than I ever knew. Never met him but I assure you it would be right when you leftBob Trehus and Oxbow Thank this.
