Location for the night

I think the only reason it got brought up because I was new and my DBL was watching me I guess. I've talked to him probably a total of 5 times since and none of them were work related, just hellos so I think it's safe to say that I'm flying under the radar. Either way it's a matter of not even 10 minutes to fuel so not a major deal. My original post was just more of a "Seriously!??" moment.

 

Yeah, something like that at the end of your day just sucks lol.

I have done the pretrip and fueling concurrently many, many, many times. If they say something to you, I'm curious of their reasoning. Might trip over the hose while you're searching for your fire extinguisher?

 

Flying J exit 2c in Nj. Went out of route to get here, wasn't supposed to be in jersey at all. Norfolk > Tobyhanna. However, I had a touch under half tanks when I dropped off the load yesterday morning. And spending about 26 hours looking for an empty (8am yesterday to 10am today) which included a drive to Richmond and back... I'm about done with fuel. And there isn't a single fuel stop along the route.. if the route includes taking 13 from Norfolk and not driving 100 extra miles unpaid.

And I've a question. My Qualcomm updated and I clicked the "what's new" button on the notification. A bunch of useless stuff except for one thing that I don't believe is true....

make that fueling part of pretrip time. no time lost.

 

so here's what you do. AS you pull into the island, look to see if both hoses are there. problem solved.

 

oh that top one was done last year? congress repealed that rule cuz the study done or used ny fmcsa was outdated.
