Newbies just receiving g their CDL might try looking for local work through Driver Leasing Companies. These are Temp Services for CDL holders. They have all types of contact with companies using drivers on all kinds of work. It can be a way to try a variety of driving positions without job hopping. My company uses Driver Leasing Services to fill-in when they need more drivers. Drivers are assigned 1 week at a time to us. We have retirees & drivers that have less than perfect backgrounds. Google your area & temporary driver provider.

I was thinking of starting with a temp agency when I finish cdl school. I've enjoyed 90% of the warehouse gigs through various agencies in the past.

Temp agency will pay you next to nothing. Closer to nothing in fact.

Yeah i dont have a perfect criminal history or employment history so I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel looking at my options. Money is not important to me i just want to gain experience to become a good driver, something I've always wanted to do since I was a little kid now I'm 30 working on that dream.
