At Gatorade, all mtys are staged up front, with tandems slid to the rear. At the Wytheville yard, all mtys go to the far end of the lot.

We used to just be able to run them in any time we wanted, but the receivers started to complain that they were inundated, so now we can only drop 1 day early. According to Steve in Wytheville anyway.
I rethought that once I remembered he was testing while I was in the lounge. Hence the other comment I made. Maybe not so much!Redtwin Thanks this. -
Hmmmm...In the spirit of full disclosure, I will honestly say that I have been (in order) B (when I first started out), a good bit of A at times, & now C!!!!!

When I first started and met my first driver manager she did a little interview of sorts asking where I lived, miles I wanted to run each week etc, a getting to know you kind of chat.
It was done in the driver lounge with a bunch of people in there. I wasnt comfortable with that at all. It didnt help when another driver was chiming in on the questions and answers I had for her. I tried my best to give him a "MYOB" look but he was oblivious and seemed intent on joining what I would rather was a personal conversation.
A little conference room somewhere would be a good idea.Rocknroller4, MidWest_MacDaddy and Lonesome Thank this. -
Maybe it was just a one off situtation. Ive never been to the back of the yard.

Thanks for clarifying, I meant gatorade near wytheville but just got lazy and said wytheville. Sorry for any confusion.MidWest_MacDaddy and RebelChick Thank this.

Shop is open sundays, but with reduced hours. I need to get back to Richmond also as I have a couple of Canadian souvenirs to give to safety.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

Yeah. Or when you're trying to have a serious conversation with anyone and another driver (or anyone really) comes up and the person you were talking to you actually stops talking to you and addresses their needs instead of saying I'm busy right now. That TOTALLY jerks my chain. One of these times I think I'll just be a real ### and get nasty about it.MidWest_MacDaddy, Redtwin and Lonesome Thank this.

When an interloper does that to me, I patiently listen and when I feel it's my turn to comment on whatever the subject is, such as the high winds situation on I-80 in Wyoming, I'll say something like, "The Africanized honey bee was first introduced to Brazil in the 1950s in an effort to increase honey production; but, in 1957, 26 swarms accidentally escaped quarantine. Since then, the species has spread throughout South America, and arrived in North America in 1985. Hives were found in south Texas of the United States in 1990. This species was discovered to have spread into the American Northwest in 2011."
The interloper will usually look bewildered and walk away.Last edited: Oct 9, 2016
