As to the Garmins. Get the 770 DeziCam. It is a combination unit that has the camera built it. I love mine. A blower clean out the trailers is nice. A snow shovel is needed soon.

Husband has a leaf blower that he really enjoys, so it is a great buy.

I did some research, and since I like to keep my GPS low and to the left, I'm going to buy a separate dash cam that I can keep high up. Plus it ends up being about $100 cheaper.

DeziCam = 500 770 plus garmin 30 = 550. So not cheaper. I run mine low and on the left. I works beautiful. But it is you call.

I'm working on Canadian prices though. DezlCAM is $700. Garmin 770 is $500, plus $120 for Viofo A119 dash cam. I miss when our dollar was as strong as yours....

What about a vehicle like a Volvo 670 or an International ProStar+? How "roomy" are they?
