trailer brakes not releasing

trailer protection valve - also called PREV (park release and emergency valve). Usually it fails with oil from worn comressor.

wont releasing service brakes ore park spring brakes?

about the conditions to release brakes
1. red glad hand got over 80-90 PSI pressure (red knob pressed)
2. Trailer air tank got enought air. over 80 PSI

It is not all. Some trailers are equipped with knobs of manual trailer brake control. For example for workshop operations ore for yard/port towing operations

in 2000 there were trailers w.o spring brakers. They had trolley brake

now you understand why is this valve is called safety valve.
