Tried to avoid them all the time as they only accept "exact" pick up and you get less for the load if you are one day late even if you give them notice. Thanks for letting all us know anyway!

 

yup. I hauled for them in august and am supposedly getting payment today. My patience has run long enough. If she doesn't follow with her promise to deposit today, I am filing with their brokers' insurance. I learned that with DAS.

What is brokers insurance? I am still $425 short from DAS since Feb

 

well, every broker needs "brokers insurance" to insure somethings...among those things brokers insurance covers us carriers from non payment by the broker. So if the broker is unable to pay the carrier, the carrier files with the insurance and then the insurance either tells them to pay us or they just pay us if it gets to it.
In my case with DAS, when I filed the insurance guy told me that DAS "was solving it internally" and he would get all the info over to DAS to put pressure on DAS paying us. And hey, I didn't think it was going to work but sure enough I had a check fedexed less than 7 days after filing. I can look through my records to see if I still have the insurance guy's number, info, policy number, etc because DAS is no longer active on the safer website which is how I get their insurance info. Sneaky sneaky

this may be old information but it was active in may and they got it solved for orders done december 2015- march 2016. Should be valid for you.
The thing is though, if DAS filed for bankruptcy, um good luck. I got nothing on that

 

and Hat creek paid me. So there's that. Maybe things are looking up for them
