Running with JCT, Part Deux

Did u get stuck here as well or am I bein ignored. I delivered 0700 this morning at the HEB warehouse San Antonio. Mt by 0930. It's 1720 and I'm still sitting here and I can't get a word from dispatch.

 

I got out of there 1515. My appt was for 1530. Called called in at 1200. I'm sitting at the TA on I-10 right now. I just swapped my empty for a loaded with two stops. Walmart in New Caney and Walmart in Temple. Then I'm going to the house for the weekend so the wife can go get drunk and drool over male strippers at a bacholrette party.

 

Ahh I was offered that same swap yesterday. It would have made more sense for today. They do ignore me and favor others. That's what I figured. Thanks for the info. Enjoy your ht.

I take it back. I'm feeling tired, sick, and paranoid. Whoever had that bad cold must have been so contagious I got it from reading his message. Preplan was sitting on me and I didn't see it until night dispatch pointed it out to me. Just waiting on dispatch.

 

So filled out the app this morning few hours later all approved and ready to go orientation starts November 7th got me. YAY!

 

Yeah they gave me the dock in front of that telephone pole. Had all kinds of volunteers jump out and help me back in. One guy had great advice, he said turn around and line up modified blind side to keep the pole in the mirror, virtually a straight shot.

 

Fun fact: when an owl bounces off your windshield at 60, it's LOUD.

Yes. My two week old windshield survived. I swear... I need to buy glass insurance.
