About to go to Nashville for flatbed orientation can anyone give me some advice

Western express?

 

must be...I'll never understand why do many people go there

 

Normal orientation if no experience go out with trainer 4 weeks..be prepared to run 3-4 weeks out before home time pay between 600-800.

 

I regularly stop at the Pilot in Nashville that shares a parking lot with Western. There is always a group of people waiting outside the office that just signed up. I mean a big group every time you go by there, their turnover rate has to be tremendous.

 

Which Pilot is that?

 

it's the one on the loop around Nashville, West side of town

 

It's on the Centenial Blvd exit off of Briley Parkway. Western Express right next door.

 

That used to be their used truck center, but I heard they now use it for orientation too........I guess they don't want to scare away any new recruits talking to drivers in the lounge at the terminal. I actually know one of their head trainers at their school they have on site. He is one of the most patient caring people you will meet, so I do know they do have some good people over there. In an environment like that, its all about keeping your attitude in check, and looking at the big picture.
You will have to check back in and tell us where your staying. They used stay over at this motel by the Concentra Clinic on White Bridge Rd.??
That neighborhood is close to a community that has some of the most expensive homes in the Nashville area.........but that end of White Bridge Rd and Charlotte is kinda rough, so be aware of your surroundings... lots of recent gun violence and drive by shootings. I'm not trying to scare you, but just like any big city there are pockets of high crime areas.

 

OK, Mesilla Valley Transportation used to be there. Elite Tank Wash is about a block on down Centennial Blvd.
