She's saying, to not take an advance. Just use "after settlement" money. That's what I do.
-
So if you don't advance your fuel, they will take it out of the settlement?
-
No. You have to have money on your card to buy fuel. You can have money from your last settlement on there or you can take a fuel advance. It costs under $2 to load a fuel advance. It gets trickier if you use two Comdata cards (one for fuel, one for settlements), I only use one for both.Hegemeister Thanks this.

That's the way I remember it.. I guess I don't understand the difference of advancing your fuel. I know what my fuel costs are a week, so I'd just load that amount.
I have a fuel card for myself already. Can I use my own card and if so will they keep up with ifta if I turn in receipts? -
I don't understand what she's saying either. You can use your own fuel card and submit receipts, but I doubt you get better discounts than Landstar. .20 at loves, .25 at Peelot plus 10x points, and cost plus at TAR.Hagar Thanks this.

What preemployment physical is given urine or hair
-
Urine is required by the FMCSA as they do not recognize hair testing so you will get that for sure.
Hair testing is something some company's do in addition (not sure if Landstar dose it or not) but shouldn't matter if you aren't doing drugs. -
