Thanks guys. When I buy my truck I know what to be looking for now. Percentage pay beats cpm by alot. Don't do scaling etc. Awesome work.

 

percentage is the only way to go........ i'm leased to a maga carrier.... all o/o's are on a sliding pay but the group i work with is percentage.... i pull the same loads they do but i get paid .70 cpm - $8.00 more doing it

Shorter miles - all this crap involving loading/unloading (finding addresses, traffic jams, detentions) is much more frequent e.i. every day, every second day.
Longer miles - more open road, more driving, more fun. And the above happens only once/ twice a week. Money is similar. The equipment wear and tear ... hard to say.
