Building RGN ramps

My old truck they were too tall. It was not good even hauling a RGN. Had to get them welded 4 times in less than a year.

 

That is a setup for frac tanks/ construction water trailers. Those trailers don't have landing gear, they just sit flat on the ground. You use the winch to get them on the truck. You're supposed to use it to get them off the truck as well, but I've seen quite a few guys just drive out from under them. The roller is there for the winch cable to ride on.

 

Alberta oilfield/winch truck. Pretty common around here. The place that did this rig-up does enough of them that they have several sets of these ready to go in stock. I was just there yesterday getting a bracket built to mount my Spinner II bypass filter on and I was asking them about these, he told me he could put it on right now, be painted and ready tomorrow...slow down, just askin
