Unless one has been exposed to it, it is hard to comprehend the extreme differences in how language developed around the world. And sometimes languages that seem impossibly complicated are actually very simple such as Chinese. In Chinese verbs aren't conjugated for time. No present, no past, and no future tense. Time is handled elsewhere in speach. Kinda cool. Kinda simple but very foreign to us wide eyes.
Regional differences have always fascinated me too. There are areas in Guatemala where 5-10 miles down the path the dialect is so different communication is near impossible. Fascinating! -
I haven't eaten at a Perkins in many years. First ex wife loved their food, and her intense weight gain showed it....lolVTech and passingthru69 Thank this.

I don't remember where it was, maybe Houston. There was a bunch of Latino just beating cheeks through this industrial area wearing white uniforms probably from some food processing plant. Then there was this beautiful Latina running over an overpass, hair flowing in the wind, sun behind her revealing a silhouette through the white overcoat like it was a summer dress. It was both breathtaking and hilarious. Someone yelling "La Migra" can be a good thing.passingthru69 and BIGZILLA Thank this.
